Hello all,
I just released version 3.0 of 0factor.com. It's a little bit more laid back than many of the flash sites coming online these days... We have gotten a lot of praise in the past for using flash modestly so I wanted to keep the trend going.
Anyway, it's here: http://www.0factor.com
Also, the previous site (version 2.2) is available for download in the downloads section of the new site along with our other flash experiments.
Cheers,
-Theron

Hmm.. the site was sort of nice.. it looks really nice when you look at it.. the flashing windows and the scrolling text..
But the buttons look really cheap when you put your mouse on them.. they look really good "untouched"..
And why not use frames? Then i would'nt have the "menu bar" disappear each time i click a link..
That's just what I think..
The downloads were cool.. masknav was pretty cool :)
see ya!

The site looked cool, but overall about the buttons I agree with nicmar - perhaps make them a little more stylish, to fit in with the rest of the site.
The way the light went up the indows was cool.
but also, I didn't like the way that everytime you clicked on a link, the menu bar disappeared - perhaps make everything flow a little smoother
Like I said though, its cool

Hi and thanks for the feedback! I didn't understand what you meant about the menu bar disappearing though? It doesn't disapear for me when I click on any of the links.
Is your connection not high speed? Not sure why else that would happen... when I click a link the only thing that appears to change is the bottom half.
I'll keep playing with it to see if I can figure out what your talking about though. Anycase, I do appreciate the feedback.

are you not using frames?
when you go to a new page, the original page goes off and then the new page comes up - would be good to have the menu bar as a permanent fixture thats all

That's correct I'm not using frames. But when a link is clicked (at least for me) because the flash peice is cached, it doesn't appear to "go away and come back" when an item is clicked. I'll have to test it on a few more machines...
Thanks again.

that'll be something you'll notice quicker on slow connections...
i like it, except (like everybody else) the buttons... please change 'em? The rest of your site looks so great, and it'll only take a couple of minutes...

I think I will have to change them! What is it specifically you don't like is it when you mouse over them?

the rest of your site looks quite-to-very-professional, and they just look cheap...
try something with a little accent, perhaps only a slight change of text color? or simply nothing, they're beautiful when not clicked...

The buttons have been changed! Thanks everybody for the feedback, I appreciate it a great deal!

You may or may not have to clear your cache to reload the flash movie to see the difference...

It's so dirty... I've been to the 2advanced site at least 3 dozen times, and today for the first time I clicked on the explore link, and saw the image, I almost **** my pants...
guess it's time to get version 4 underway.
I've seen the image before on another site (not 2advanced) used statically a while back. Then I came accross it on getty recently and said, oh cool, I'll use that...
I knew that image was too good to be true...

Your personal homepage was pretty cool too.. a little slow to load but it might be my connection :)
The photoalbum is cool.. I might fix something like that sometime.. in case I have some new photos to show :)

Oh btw.. i forgot.. great music.. Listening to right now :)
This is good navigation, the menu stays here all the time, and the music keeps playing.. everything else would suck :)
But wait a minute.. that menu looks familiar :) :)
