duplicating timers

I think I may have over complicated my last posting (no response lots of looks!) so a more simple form me thinks.
Im tryng to duplicate a contdown timer on the stage (sorry for the director metas im still switching over). each timer is from the same movieclip with a different instance name on each, the problem is as each timer is duplicated the former stops running and the new clip starts from where the former stopped (phew!)
simply put, imagine four timers on stage from the same movieclip all running at different times.

any ideas????

Can you tell me if you want to have four different timers that count as soon as the timer has been duplicated??? Or are you trying to create four different clocks that shows different timezone???

Do you have any sample that we can take a look??? ;)

Stage is valid word in Flash too, I think... (I'm from Director side too, and I didn't bother to look it up... :D)
