XML data loaded into PHP page

I have used a tutorial on the website here to load xml data into a php page. All is working nice, but there is one thing that I would like to tidy up. When the xml data is printed it creates large gaps between the text as below:

Portobello mushroom tart fine
Served w/ shaved asparagus salad and white truffle creme fraiche / v 15
Wild rabbit and pistachio terrine
Served w/ shaved asparagus salad and white truffle creme fraiche / v 15
Portobello mushroom tart fine
Served w/ shaved asparagus salad and white truffle creme fraiche / v 15

But I want it to print as below:

Portobello mushroom tart fine
Served w/ shaved asparagus salad and white truffle creme fraiche / v 15
Wild rabbit and pistachio terrine
Served w/ shaved asparagus salad and white truffle creme fraiche / v 15
Portobello mushroom tart fine
Served w/ shaved asparagus salad and white truffle creme fraiche / v 15

Here are two images that show my problem. One is of the xml printed in flash and the other into a php page. Hope that someone knows a solution. Cheers.

is CSS in flash accurate for printJob ?
