I was ecstatic when I learned that flash cs5 would be able to compile android applications.
However when I followed the steps in "gotoandlearn.com/play.php?id=123" Lee Brimelow's video tutorial. I ran into several problems. This link from the video "labs.adobe.com/technologies/air2/android/" sends me to a this page "adobe.com/products/air/" . so i ran into that problem right off the bat. But my seconded problem is I lack an android phone. I can borrow a phone to test with but this won't do for general testing and debugging. I would like to use the emulator but I have no clue as to how to set it up.
IF some one has any idea on how to set this up or what i can look at to set this up please let me know!

sorry if the links are a bit odd but the forum wouldn't let me post links for some reason

You need to download the Android SDK. Then, follow the steps on this page:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

You will also need to have the pre-release AIR for Android SDK; an extension for Flash CS5 that enables you to push compiled AIR applications to your device, or emulator.

Unfortunately for you, they are no longer accepting prerelease applicants into the program, hence you will have to find the extension by Googling for it; perhaps someone has stored a copy on fileshare or something.

Good luck :)

It'd be breaching the NDA you sign when you join the prerelease program if you post it somewhere or give it to somebody and you won't be eligible next time when you want to join another one... So, I am hoping that nobody does that...

At any rate, you can find that one from here...
