I am using Flash 8. I want to know if it can handle a video? I made a video about myself self and would like to put it on my website. Can someone help me put the video on my website or is it too involved?

Yes, Flash 8 will handle video just fine.
If you have just one video and it doesn't need much for customization of the player or interaction with the rest of the .swf, you could use the FLVPlayback component.
Main menu...Window/Components/FLVPlayback
set the properties of the component down in the properties panel.
If you would like a more customizable video player, build your own using NetStream.... a much more powerful and versatile method of handling video. Great tut here:
