_y needs to be fixed.

Is there a way in flash for me to set it so that...
_y goes up it is positive
and when
_y goes down it is negative.

It would make much more sense to me because then it would just be like a normal quadrant 1 graph.

1. Do you want a positive and a negative value as a String, related with a movieClip?

OR

2. The actual Position of _y should be negative and positive on Up and Down of a movieClip?

OR

3. This is about the _y value of Stage itself?

What is "_y" stands on your imagination?

If it is "1", then i should say that it is 100% possible in flash.

Or, if "2" and "3", not possible. as I know.

But still your question is blurry to me, Please be specific how positive and negative you want?

this does not have to do with moving mcs. Flash just confuses my sometimes because i am used to y going up beging positive and y going down as being negative. Thanks for your responses
