animated button?

I can't get the buttons to animate,
all the buttons i have made so far is just standig still:(
How do i make them animated?
can I import a movie clip into the button?

what do you mean when you say animate?

what do you want them to do?

Normally, u just drag the movie clip into the part of the button you want to animate.

simply create a movieclip and put it into the part of you're button where you want it
