Hey there !
Let me introduce myself, I'm Mathieu F. I'm here to represent my team, composed of 2 Canadian(including myself). I do the html/css/javascript and my mate is doing the php/xajax/javascript. Actually, our project doesn't have a name which is why I introduce myself instead of our project first.
We are working on a website with a web radio on it, the web radio would have different playlist classed by genre, when a song plays on the radio, a Bio from the artist would show, using data from lastfm dot com. The web site would have a filling form for user to post their band's music into our playlist. We are actually taking care of everything. But today we asked ourselves how we could manage to do a radio playing differents playlist without streaming it from our computer. --If you have any better idea to do this than the one I'm going to propose, please speak up-- So, what we need is a 3rd buddy doing actionscript, that will help us to make a player that will take information in a xml file(that contains the playlist(we are taking care of the xml)), you will have to look upon the track's lenght and time of the server, to make sure that every radio listener get the same song at the same moment.
