Help! I have a file located here:

http://www.pixiuscorp.com/temp/pointe/kitchen_2.html

overall it is doing what it is supposed to however - if you try changing the color of the cabinets or the appliances first - they don't show up (because they are on the bottom layers). If I move all the cabinet layers up they work - but then whatever is now on the bottom of the layers list does the same thing!

The other crazy thing is - that if you change the colors of the floor or counter tops first - the others work... but there is no way I can guarantee the customers are going to start at the floor!

Is there some glitch that I'm not aware of? Or do I just have too many layers???

If anyone can help I would appreciate it! I have a deadline of this eve!

Thanks!!!!

what I am currently trying is alternating the layers - so not all the appl. are on top and not all the floors are on bottom etc. So I think I am limiting the chance of hitting the one color that won't show up right away...

barefoot -

it may be the shear size of your graphics. i took out all of the layers except the cupboards and it worked. i'm at a loss here. i'll plug away at it some more.

Nevermind! I got it to work! Make sure the cubb layers are positioned on top of one another. I have no idea why this made it work. Also, I think you need to implement a better preloader. One that loads all of the content before progressing.

so all the cubb layers are just on top of eachother? or all the cubb graphics are on the same layer?

Barefoot - they aren't in the same layer but rather positioned on layers below one another.

cubb layer 1
cubb layer 2
cubb layer 3.......etc

Make sense?

you too - hey maybe you could do a favor for me - my fiance and i are flying down to austin for a week - where would you recommend we hang out for good music and food. i've heard 6th and 4th street are fun areas.

Hey - sorry I don't live in Texas anymore... I just still use that yahoo address for sign up things... I don't need all the junk mail at my reg. account.

I did live in austin for 6 mo. and everywhere had great food and great music - it is the live music capital of the world! Even TGI Fridays had live music. :)

But your right 6th street is very popular - and busy - but it was a ton of fun! But just because it is busy don't let that stop you from going... it's worth it.

If you get a chance I would drive to San Antonio and see the river walk... that could be very romantic :)

Another interesting thing is... if you go to congress street near the capitol, and you go to the bridge there, at dusk there are millions of bats that fly out from under the bridge in a huge line... when the light is right I have heard it is pretty cool..and you can see them for a long time.. When I was there we could only see them for a few feet - but I would check it out!

Hope you have a great trip! and good luck with the wedding!!
