Where DO I start on this ?

What do I need to learn or where do I start on alearning how to do a project like this?

Very amateuar right now.

The first project, dcmetal, would be fairly easy to learn. It is most likely completely done on the timeline as with a lot of frame labels and gotoAndStops().

The second project is much more difficult. It's basically all object-oriented programming where very little to nothing is on the timeline or even in the library for that matter.

Definitely try the first project first.
