Hi,

I have made 8 complex vector images created in Adobe Illustrator. I now want to import them into Flash to build a slide show with them. The file size of each image is about 1.5mb. When I try to import them into Flash using File>Import>To Library or simply Copy+Paste it takes extremely long and my computer almost freezes. When they eventually come up in the library, they take ages to actually drag onto the stage. I think the files must be too big or I'm doing something wrong. Surely it should be easy to transfer vectors from one program to another? I don't want to convert them to Jpegs or anything because of quality loss. Perhaps the vectors are too complex for Flash?

What am I doing wrong here? Or any solutions?

Hello!

Try to export them from Illustrator as swf-files.
And the import the exported swf-files in Flash.

Hey there, I think your best bet would be to resize the images, I had a simmlar problam. What is your file type? the best i've found was png. No vectors are hnot to complex for flash, as all the graphics made directly in flash are vector.
