Hi,
I would like to learn how to resize the square and then an image appears. I am loss at this actionscript x and y stuff. Would someone kindly to help me ?

You got me thinking on this and I couldn't stop until I'd done it! See attached.

I've also added a working version at http://www.actionscript.org/showMovie.php?id=754 . Note that because this script waits until the JPG is fully loaded there is some delay between clicking the button and resizing. Really the script should be changed to only wait until the image is about 20% loaded before running the resize script.
