I have been trying to figure out for the longest time how to make a continuous movement graphic that moves on the x axis only based on mouse position. I used to know where some of these where located, but because I can't find them any more I have no examples.
The main thing I am trying to do is have the middle of the graphic the stoping point, and then if the mouse was moved to the left, it would speed up the further left I went from the center, same with the right side. The further from the middle of the graphic, the faster the movement of the graphic would go. I know it is based off of the _xmous position and I have been doing trial and error on getting it to work, but how do I really make this thing go. The movie is 800 pixels wide.
I also need to know how to respawn the graphic so it doesn't just stop once it hits its end. The graphic itself is over twice as long as the flash movie. the movie is 800 pixels wide and the graphic used to scroll is about 1750.
Thanks,
Brad
