Input text field disappears

well, the text in the field not the field itself.

I simply have the input field, then a button. The button then rips the values from the feilds and pits them into local variables in the function. Then the loadVariables can send them to the script.

On the screen the text dissapears and my CGI script gets blank values.

Whats happening?

WHOOPS I mis referenced the text , having fixed it in one button I thought I'd done it in another, stil strange how it disapeared
