scrolling text field

I'm quite new to Flash (I'm using Flash 5) and I am having problems developing a scrolling text field. Can anyone recommend any complete tutorials on how to build a scrolling text field in Flash 5?

--the real problem I'm having is where to use the scroll and maxscroll script--where do I use this script?
