Is there any way to load something like an excel file into a flash movie? Or do I need to use HTML and load my flash movies into there? I just want to know if its possible to make an interface totally with flash..

Excell files contain a lot of junk. Flash could effectively import a CSV (comma separated values) database or table which could be output by Excell.. but it wouldn't be very easy. If you doa search on the forums for Excell and CSV you will find a thread discussing outputting content from Flash to be read in later by Excell
