Looking for level designer for a path finding tower defence game. There are 9 levels that need to be made that increase in length as the game progresses, the minimum amount of waves in a level should be 40, max around 100, plus other additional level design support.

To develop the levels we've made a level editor where you can edit the statistics of each wave, creep and tower. This should be all that's necessary to make each level.

As we are the developers of the “Create your own tower defence” games, the level editor uses a very similar interface which we have found is quite simple to use.

Here is the summary:

Requirements:

- show us some previous level design work, preferably tower defence related

Tasks:

- make 9 levels using our simple wysiwyg level editor (you won't need to write any line of code)
- help us with an “infinite waves” game mode
- provide support with other level design related things we may need.

Payment:

- $300 (negotiable if necessary)
- Bonus if the job meets our standards.

Deadline:
- take as much time as you need to polish things and make them work well, max 4 weeks, preferable around 2.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- we will only accept somebody who takes this task seriously, the gameplay is one of the most important components of the game, and you'll be responsible for it, do your job well and we'll pay you accordingly :)
- keep in mind that this is a pathfinding tower defence and may be a bit more difficult to make the levels than a classic one.
- we want the game to be as professional as possible.

It's a really easy job but we need someone who can handle this well.

About Us:
We are a 2 men team (Richard Postelnicu and Luke Reed), with a 2+ years experience in game development, usually working under the name of “oddmachine” and “funflow studios”

Games we developed include: “Create your own Tower Defence”, “Alien SOS”. (frontpaged and awarded games on newgrounds).

The current game is now at 90% completion, and we need to hire a level designer so we can focus on polishing the game and getting it finished, rather than spending additional time developing and tweaking the levels/waves.
For now it is a flash game, but we intend to port it on other platforms too.

PM if you are interested or need additional information.
