Can someone check out this link. I need to make an almost identical learning curve as the one on this site. Does anyone know how to do this and if there is a tutorial out there that can help me. Any help would be great!

identical learning curve as the one on this site huh ???

farafiro just replies with nonsense.....
something like that is going to take some actionscripting beyond what the beginning flash user knows.. so unless you know how to program a little bit you are probably stuck unless someone either A, has this created already on a...org or you can run in to it elsewhere......... i could do it, however i have to write lots of programs for classes right now so i cant be of any help...
i hope this gave you some direction, other than me playing like farafiro and poking fun at you for coming to a forum to ask a question.. some people like to boost their posts...
happy coding

USR:
saying HUH, means that I didn't understand what he/she says, not that I am "playing" ??
Also, I don't need to do that to boost up my posts here, I don't like this accusations.
And finaly:
before accusing anyone like that -in my case- you should see where I came from and see if I can understand no direct expression meanings like what he said, as English is not my mother tongue here.
Hope that I made it all clear.
Thanks

I need to make an almost identical learning curve as the one on this site. This line made me think what the !@#$ is this David guy talking about as well...farafiro just replies with nonsense.....This line sounds like this farafiro guy is a moron who just wants to poke at anybody to have fun to me... What do you think???
Hey, usr radioshack... Any reason for attacking farafiro??? Do you think farafiro hid some sort of nuke in his closet??? Is that why??? I can vouch that farafiro does not need any stupid thing like the one you mentioned to boost his post... Don't try to bite the hands that's feeding you... Oh... Sorry that lots of people who are trying to help other people in this forum are non English speaking individuals... If you don't like it, you know what to do to change it... ;) Keep doing what you are doing... Help other people, but don't do what you just did again... farafiro might nuke your house...

usr radioshack,
Just for reference how long do you think it would take for an experienced programmer to do a similar learning curve.
Thanks,
David

experienced one? umm... probably an hour at most..... esp if they know flash .. but something like that would definately be a challenge to do... so if you are up for a challenge go for it!!! and good luck

usr radioshack,
You sure you wouldn't be interested in either helping me out with it or doing it yourself. I will pay you. If interested email me at davidv42@aol.com at let me know what you think it would take.
Thanks,
David

Yup... Only a moron sees a moron...
Tsk... Tsk... It doesn't matter how much you know and how much you understand about Flash if you don't know how to respect other people... :(
Oh... Just for the record... your a moron man is not right either... your should be You're and you are missing a period at the end of the sentence... I know that school system in Illinois is bad, but I didn't expect this much... :(

If you want to argue the technicalities of the english lexicon, we can do that. There have been a plethora of grammatical errors in your posts... Let us focus on those for a moment.
You're, not your, is the correct usage. And what's this: "and its chose not captain egypt"? You can't correct someone's mistake with another mistake. You also neglected to append a period to the end of your sentences, rendering them useless gibberish.
All I've seen thus far is you tooting your own horn without justifying any of the claims. It's like the ever cliche kid in school that lied about everything, but whom refused to prove anything. Don't do that. If you spout off saying that you can do it, then help. Otherwise, don't say anything at all. I'd make a fairly hefty wager on the fact that 90% of the people in here are more adept at using Flash than you are. Especially Farafiro, who would probably make you pee your pants with his grasp of Flash, as well as foreign language. So, if you want to make ungrounded, extravagant claims, then that is your right, but with it's guaranteed to come with ridicule.
Now, your response to my post is going to be one of predictability and grammatical ignorance. You don't bring a Nerf™ bat to a sword fight. So, don't waste our time. Just stop coming here.
Cheers, idiot.

Oh darnit, Cyan preempted me. Oh well, perhaps it will better serve the idiot as a reminder of his own intellectual deficiencies.
We lie in the beds we make. I hope this post has shown you that you're not welcome here.
And as a side note, in the other post about the same subject, Billy T has provided the person with what appears to be a working solution to the problem. Something you failed to do with all your rambling on about your holy omniscience.
Adios, dummy.

yea i dont need to set here and fix errors or try to spell everything correctly...
i dont know how you guys didnt understand his post.... did you read the title of the site, and then what he was asking??
i dont use flash regularly, however i do program in java.. .. thanks for the long drawn out posts though, i am glad i could waste enough of your day for you to type it all out.. then scan it cautiously for your errors so i wouldnt post back about them.. good touch, however.. i am using this forum to get answers about actionscripting that i do not know... so you guys have fun typing english papers.... your post to me, is just as idiotic as my post to her
cheers!

first I appreciate your deffence or so, but I just want to say that he is welcomed here at any time, but just the way he uses isn't welcomed.
That's it
no offence here, I saw more than what he did and said here and I used not to give this more than what it needs, just some arguing for killing that hmmmmmmmmmm let's say TIME now ;) :D

programming languages can all technically have "lingo"
director and flash are very similar.. but they have their seperate uses....lingo is derived from director tho

Yeah... Never had chance to go deep with Java when I had my hands on it... Hm... Come to think of it... I think I have lost most of my Java brain... I guess I had too much coffee lately... :D

Oh... WIU... I have never been around that place, but I know where it is... and that's abit different from what I have heard... I had one friend who transferred from UIC to WIU and he said that the place is real boring... Maybe that was just him...
Anyways... If you like the language, master it... I never really liked it that much... I just learned it to teach my wife to get through the class and did some more afterwards... It's got good potential, but that doesn't go with me... :D
Well... Good luck on programming Java blackjack... Show us what you create when it is done, and enjoy ActionScripting in the mean time... ;) I guess I'll hit the sack... G'day...

yes, wiu is boring... but all i do is sit in my room and code usually.. either that or mess with flash ... (taking a flash class but its very basic so im expanding my knowledge)
