Hi there,
Maybe Fusilier21st didn't mean fireworks (the 31st of december thingies) but Fireworks, the Macromedia program for editing bitmaps, making animated gifs and so on?!
Well - if so, my suggestion is to try to find some image resources of true photographed old paper-stuff (via google, altavista and so on) and throw yourself into some serious pixelpushing, brushing, removing and cloning until you maybe finally get the result you need.:D
I prefer photoshop, so I can't give you any real help about how to work with fireworks.
But also here google could help - try searching for "fireworks tutorial" or something.
:o Maybe you also want to consider taking pictures yourself - grab a camera, find some old paper you think fitting and "cheese!". :p
