I downloaded this fla. My problem with the script is that I have trouble controling the hit area.

On this script on this hit area is the hole size of the actual movie. There is a button on the .Fla which I tried to change but it has no effect.

Anyone know of a script that can do this or a way of editing the script on this fla?

Tried that already. But it seems no matter what the size of the hit area is, it some how calculate the whole area. I'm terriable with action scripting and I dont understand any of what been written on this script. Hardcore..

Has anybody seen a similar script ? Bit user friendly ?

Thanks for you help.

i've stopped dragging the "mouse" (hidden button), and cut out the circle from that button's hit-area. and changed the code in the second frame of the mc to calculate with
_xmouse and _ymouse
instead of
mouse:_x and mouse:_y
check attach

ooohh.. i'll remember that :D
the site looks real nice, man. good use of color and the buttons and bevels look really modern-OS without being too fisher-price.
- i saw this (http://www.cure-yeux.com/tost/forum/4Dihan.pdf) when i opened the site, i assume everyone with flash (authoring) on their machine sees it.. thought you'ld like to know -

Thanks.

I'm not sure what the authoring tool is ? I never come across that before on any computer I've tested the site. Isn't it got to do with how you specifed your Mac ?

with 'the authoring tool" i mean the actual application 'flash' used to make swf files and not the flash player. it's got to do with my machine being able to debug swf's from the browser. i suppose most flashdevelopers will see it..

Can it be sorted out? How ?

I've never heard of this before. I'm very much a home user and self taught. So many bits and bobs that I dont knwo about.

Just had a look at your portfolio - nice stuff. Really like that colorz poster and wicked logo, something I'm really bad at. And a nice concept for the loading. Bravo

Just went though the rest. Daame - You are good. Is that the company you work for or is it yours ?

That site just gone on the "BadBoy Links Folder" - note its takes something extra to get into that. :-)

Thanks again for you help.

PS. That fla you sorted out looks like this now:

unfinished but quite happy with the outcome

check your publish settings, in the 'flash'-tab there will be an enabled checkbox called 'allow debugging', uncheck it and that's it. let me know when you've upp'ed it, i'll go and check if it's okay, a'iight?

tnx for yer compliments  and to link to us. where's that badboy links page then?
It's not just my folio, it's ours; we're three people who worked a bit here and there and we got together almost a year ago to start up our own design office. and we're working like horses to let the dream come true ;)
nice idea, that cd :)

I completly forgot about that. I normaly use the "Test Movie" action to publish my flash file.

You been a great help. Cannot really thank you enough.

That badboy link page is only my favorite list on my computer which has a list of all my fav sites. But I have recomended your site to a my fav and the only web link site : www.styleboost.com - I'm sure he's going to put it up after he sees your work.

I still cannot get over cream.be - that must be one of the most original and quality web sites I have ever seen. Still cannot figure out how the window can be reduced but not changing the size of the flash movie. If I ever need to do that I'll be emailing you :D

Keep up the good work. I'm sure you going to go far with work as good as that.

Where are you guys based ? .be ?
