I looked for this type of effect every where but could not find it. It is a nice effect in JavaScript and I would like to know how they do it. Here is the link, Graphico (http://www.graphico.co.uk/about_culture.asp)
Click on the pictures of the staff and see how the picture blurs out and then goes back in and normal again. How did they do that?
i found this in the source:
<img width="128" height="128" style="FILTER: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Pixelate(MaxSquare=50,D uration=0.6);" name="mainimage" id="mainimage" src="images/about/mugshots/1/1_medium.jpg">
which got me to google for DXImageTransform, led me to this page (http://www.jansfreeware.com/articles/ie-page-transitions.html)
good thing you asked this, i'm glad to know :)
regards
tost

Unfortunately this effect is not standards compliant and so will mainly only work in Internet Explorer 5.5+
