NyQuil Driver

I'm trying to make an MP3 player for my bands website. Right now I'm using loadMovieNum commands to load other .swf files to try to keep the load times minimal. But when it loads from one .swf to another it goes blank for a few second until it loads the second .swf, I just don't like the way it looks and I'd like some advice on how to eliminate this, be it some option I'm forgetting in my existing program or a different way entirely to load about 12 mp3 files and have the stream.
My latest research has me wondering about levels, would this accomplish what I want? I plan to read the help file and experiment with them more tomorrow but I figure some advice never hurt. Thanks guys.
Here's what I currently have, I know it's ugly, it was just a test to see if I could do it:

However we'd like to it operate more like this:

(the bar on the left)
