Hi there,
I also got this error just today while trying to publish my android tests to my android device.
So odd, I was home last night playing around, deploying to my device through my USB as usual. Take the build into work and tinker, and now I get this error. I don't know what has changed. The only thing I can think about right now, is folder permissions have changed maybe?
I'm lost too, would love a reply!

I'm sorry to say I was never able to resolve this. I ended up upgrading to CS5.5, my file wouldn't open and I had to rebuild it.
Before I upgraded in CS5 I had done some messing around with various SDK's so I'm wondering if I broke something in that process.
I'm sorry I'm not able to help. If you discover the solution please post it here.
