The wheels in the commercial ARE fake, aren't they?
It's seems strange to me that they seem to INCREASE speed while going in the upward direction... .
Maybe any Photoshop 250% zoom guy might investigate shadows etc. :-)?

I know its a little old but for rot, its all real. The tires are weighted so they can roll seemingly uphill.

Yes but if you look at the second tire it says there instead of rolling back.

It stays there becuase like senocular says, it is weighted.
yep it is real... I thought for sure it was 3d, especially those tires. I saw this a couple months ago and never second guessed that it was 3d.
According to the article it took 606 tries.

That article was dated for 1993, but the dashboard is clearly the new 2003 design.

it's real and it's wonderful, there is a German name for these contraptions (you know, like the alarm clock that pulls a string and 2 eggs roll down a ramp and break into a siev over a frying pan . . .) but I was not able to find the term . .
