hi...
i was trying out an animation of a (say, shutter) sliding in and out.. got something working... but i didn't get the actual good effect... any one in design side?? can u take a look on the file?

it is a simple shape tweening.. thnx

I looked at the file but I'm still unsure what effect you're trying to achieve. Could you post an example you've seen elsewhere or maybe give a more detailed description?

the effect is my imagination... (though there is nothing great in it... ;) )

the shutter (which i love to have it in 3-d also)... for now.. 2 d is good.. is swinging from the right to the left with the pivot as 'a' as the shape hint...

the current animation has a very little effect of that.. i want to do something that is more realistic...

so. it is basically a swinging motion..

if you have swift 3d you could accomplish what you want in 3d and keep it in vector format. not sure how to do what you want by shape tweening in flash. if you have swift, let me know and I might be able to help you a bit more.

i don't have swift 3D... i searched their website and found that they don't have download trial :( :(

thnx.. for letting me know... i will have to find another way in Flash itself ...
