hey folks,
just thought I'd introduce myself. I am fairly new to flash and have been pottering with some effects for a while. I have yet to complete a full site using flash, but I do plan on getting there eventually.

see you all around

thanks everyone. been looking through the archive a lot, been learning some really good tips and tricks. I aslo pulled out all my Flash CBT training, I have the Flash 5 (Learnkey) and the Lynda.com Flash 5, Advanced Flash 5, and Advanced actionscript. All of which just sat in the house for months....

I am currently working with flash MX, but thought that the flash 5 cd's would help to some extent with the basics even being a slightly older version.

I don't have the MX cd's yet :-(

Actually... I am using FMX, but I still have F5 book and that is the only Flash book that I have... :D

Utilize Flash manual and Using Flash section, and other internet information that you can lay your hands on... That will be the best book you will ever want... Just my 2 cents... ;)
