How is the mouse effect accomplished on this site?

I just basically want to know if they used the same object and varied the size through script, or if those are different objects..and how they anchored it to the side of the page.

it looks like each part of the lens flare is a seperate circular object, placed according to the _xmouse and _ymouse positions.

I would say that the whole lens flare effect is happening in it's own movieClip which, in turn, is placed on the main timeline.

This is how it is all anchored.
