Flash review (pls I'm disperate!)

Hi everyone!
My problem is this:
I made one of my school projects in Flash, the only thing is that they need me to write a 8 pages essay on how I made it. No biggy, but they also want me to write in it about flash.
Here is where I got stuck. All I need is about 4 paragraphs on how flash got started,what it is, what it does, what Actionscript is, what language it has developed from.

I think I know most of these, but I can't write things I'm not sure of. I tried to search the web but all I find are tutorials and stuff. If anyone Knows where I might find these information pls. inform me. I'M DISPERATE!
