Hi:
Saw this incredible animated website
http://puccaclub.com/eng/
What do you think? Swift3d or very [amazingly] fluid 2d animation. If it is the latter, how can it be achieved? look a the cat's tail movement, for example.... it's so smooth? any hints?
Ok, bye.

I don't think there's any 3D going on in this site, just some good animation skills. Besides I doubt modelling the cat's tail would be any easier than just drawing it because you still need to describe its movement.
The only thing which might make it easier would be to trace a movie of an actual cat wagging its tail.
Hope it helps,

yeah, i agree with pixelwit. don't think any 3d in that. by the way, is there anything better than adobe streamline for tracing bitmaps. is there any handy software that traces video directly to swf?
The cats tail looks like a simple tween.
You can trace each frame if you import it in to flash, may need to do it frame by frame from premier or something or you can use the video imported and sketch over by hand on another layer. sometimes animating just takes time, I don't know about the adobe package you mentioned.
I played about with the bacardi cat when I first started flash 5, but never finished the project.

Check out the flash animation called skydiving. It takes a long time to load but it's totally worth it. It looks like the entire movie is an imported movie clip. Really well done.
