telling a level1 movie to control level0

Hi y'all
I have a 10 scene movie and lets say in scene 8 I have the following:

5 frames; the 5th frame has a load movie action and a stop action.
For navigation, I eventually want to be able to unload the .swf from level 1 and return to scene 2 of level 0.

Is there a conditional onUnloadMovie action that I can place on scene 8, frame 5,level 0 that I can use?

I can't seem to call targets as the .swf I'm loading is independant of the first movie.

If you load into a MC you can use:
onClipEvent (unload) {
}

But I don't get why you can't just add the actions on the button or keyframe you're using to unload.

on (release) {
unloadMovieNum (1);
_level0.gotoAndPlay("Scene 2", 1);
}

Jesse, that unloadmovie action for _level0 is exactly what I need BUT...
the company requires movies to be exported using Flash 4 for greater public access, and the script you sent me is only exported in 5... is there a flash 4 equivalent?
(the onClipEvent action is no use to me by itself as I must unload AND return in the same action and (I may be mistaken...) the movie is not imported as a MC but as a new movie. If I could convert all the movies to MCs I would still need an unload and return action.

you can't use the clip event because that's f5 only but you can still use the 2nd lot of code above, simply adapt it to use tell target instead of inline paths and it should be f4 compatible.

telltarget level0 should work, I suppose I've got a lot of scripting to learn.
