hi guys,

i am working on a site with flash intro starting at the beginning.

i want the site should look same for both the res 800*600 and

1024*768. i know it's possible using vector flash animation.

my problem is i am using bitmap images in flash intro.

these images cause me display problem while switch from one

resolution to another.

if i make 800*600 flash movie and published at (diamensions 100%) swf output, it's work

fine for 800*600 resolution but for 1024... it's causes me problem.:(

and vice versa..

i hope u guys are getting my point.:P

so how do i use same movie size either 800*600/1024*768 for

my swf?

plz anybody has advice on this one..

regards,

How does it look like when you work the other way around...
Make it for 1024*768 and scale it for 800*600...

why don't you make two set of bitmap pictures: one for 800, the other for 1024 and let the user to pick which resolution to view the movie

Have a look at the dictionary for System.capabilities.screenResolutionX and System.capabilities.screenResolutionY

Using Frames, it keeps the thing from distorting, i included the source is used, try it:

load the index.html in IE to test.

my swf file was named index.swf, so name yours that and put it in the same folder for quick results....
