dropDown menu selection

Anyone know of a dropdown menu component so that the user can select there location from it.

You see it in most html forms

Um... I'm sorry, but I don't follow...

Are you looking for some sort of component that contains the list of, say, cities in UK so that you can just drop it into the Flash movie so that people can select from it???

I've done one with the states in US, and I had to manually put it... I am not sure if there is one like that... :(

You could make the listbox dynamic so it populates itself, use xml to input the .data

This is what I'd do...

Find any place where they have the drop down box you want...
Open up the HTML source, and find the string... Do the copy and paste into the Flash...
Do some clean up and you can use it right away....

heh! yup, sitting here reading ASDG2, I got 20 mins before I have to get my sorry ass up and actually do something constructive rather than sitting on my computer...Weekends...I have to snap back to reality and actually move and take my girlfriend out NOOOOOO lol
