View Full Version : Stage off center & too big

I've created my first partial Flash movie after trying to teach Flash to myself (boy, what a task!) and I've run into a problem. When I uploaded my movie to the web, there is extra space on the right side and bottom of my stage, so that my movie isn't actually taking up the entire screen like I need it to. I created the "No Padding" template for my publish settings. But I have a couple of graphics that hang off the bottom of my stage--is that what is causing the problem? And is there a way to fix this without having to go redraw the graphics so that they don't hang off the sides? Please see http://www.mindspring.com/~emckibben if you are interested in helping. TIA!!!

I don't see it. I checked out the URL but it's all nicely contained within what appears to be the correct stage area....

Well, how strange! On both my laptop and my pc, the entire right side of the page is blue and empty and my nuclear atom symbol that should look like it is emerging from the bottom right corner looks like it has been chopped off and thrown into the middle of the page! Hmmmmm.

If you want it to fill the entire screen you have to make it's publish dimensions 100% width and height (Ctrl Shift Alt F12 in Flash, HTML tab)
