Well you can download the FLA provided at the link. I'm not sure if there is one here but try Flashkit.com they've got lots of stuff there.

I'm guessing that you're a bit confused by the way the line changes colors as it's traced.

Reproducing the laser cutting the letters is as easy as creating a path, turning it into a motion guide and having the glow follow the guide.

As the glow moves along the path a new Line MovieClip is placed on stage at the glows last position and connects to the glow's newest position. As an added touch the line fades colors.

What I am looking to do is outline a logo with the laser effect, no special faded color effects just an outline...
