View Full Version : problem with border on pop up - HELP!!! going insane here....

Hi there,
for ages now I have been trying to slve this - to no avail..... - I set up most of my flash sites as pop ups and recently I have been getting the same problem: a fine line of about 2-3 pixels shows up around the flash content, even though all margins on the html page are set to "0" and the pop up size is defined precisely the same as my flash content...
To see whaty I mean - here's the link to one of my current projects: http://www.graphiceyedea.co.uk/venol/divatrial/

As in this presentation I am starting off with pink as the main colour but finish off with blue - the border does look very ugly at the very end....

If anyone has any thoughts or tips on this - I would really appreciate any ideas on this one - it's driving me insane....
thanks, Prisca

Cyan's work would go well if u r doing it with plain HTML
but if with JabaScript, there is a tut for that and also a lotta threads

CyanBlue, thanks for getting back to me and...
yep... that is exactly why I am so baffled.... - I'm using a java script in the main html page and calling it from my flash button. On the flash button itslef - I specify size and positioning and in the html on both pages - all margins are set to "0".

I feel like I've hit a wall.... any more ideas...?

thanks for that link - I'll look into it... hopefully I'll be able to solve it...
Unfrotunately my strength lies in the disgn side rather than scripting but I'm learning more and more - so I'm hoping I'll get there in the end...
Thanks again, prisca
