Nextscene & Prevscene?

Ok... I think I'm going crazy here. I have received two presentations from a client, and both have a controller that allows one to stop, play, go forward, and go backwards.

The go foward uses simple actionscript to nextscene

To go backwards, uses prevscene

BUT, it does not work. The movie has 5 scenes in it, and I don't understand why.

The other movie I received has a similar controller, same actionscriptign, and it works.

I don't know why!

wanna an advice

don't stick with the scenes, use frame's lable and call them without the scene number

faffy is right - scenes will cause you more grief than they are worth. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't (a bit like me) but most of all they will make you old and grey and confused.

If possible make different "scene" areas in your main timeline instead. Much more stable and reliable. Cheers
