interface problem

On my laptop, FLASH has some strange low-res font in parameter windoews, etc.

For instance, in the property panel, the boxes that show width, height, position, etc. are displayed in a font made of little squares, and is unreadable.

I have win 98 se on the computer. I also have Photoshop 7, Illustrator 10, and MS Office 97. no other applications have this problem.

I know it must be a setting, but I have been unable to find out which one.

probably you checked other's file but without the font he or she used for that movie. because Flash would only display words properly if you have that font installed in your machine, otherwise you will get those nice squares~ ;)
