Beyond Properties

I am new to actionScripting, and was curious to know if other than the standard properties, can you control the tint, brightness, and other aspects of movieClip via ActionScripting?

Not quite the tint or brightness, but you can use Color.setTransform() function to mimick what you want to do... Check out the Flash manual and so some searching on the forum with the given term to find more information... ;)
