Will Flash Remoting which comes built-in to Coldfusion work for a site who's backend is written .NET framework in a shared hosting situation?

For example, Hostmysite offers a hosting plan that has Coldfusion and .Net Framework installed on the same server - since I am not using Coldfusion but I am using .Net, will the Flash Remoting work for my Flash MX application that requires Flash Remoting?

this is a guess here, you may ask in the forums at mm.

as you said, flash remoting is built into cfmx... so i think your pages would need to be processed by the cf server for the remoting to work, so if say you were going to an asp.net page using remoting, the page would not be served by the cfmx server, thus no remoting...

check if your backend has the .net remoting stuff installed.

Thanks for your answer.

After much looking around we finally found a shared hosting plan that has Flash Remoting for .NET.

Has anyone used Viux.com hosting that offers this rare feature?
