Help nedded with the following.

When I am working with movie clips on stage, they look different from those clips which I see in preview mode (control --> test movie).

What I am getting in the preview mode was something that I had had before I made final changes. When I open the folder on the desktop where all the clips reside, and click on each of them to view, I am getting the old stuff that does NOT exist any longer on the timeline and in the library!!! It is so irritating, and I can't think of anything that may cause this problem. Especially becauce those clips have new looks in the flash library.

could it be because your fla is called test.fla but your export setting is set to export the fla w/ a dif name lets say 1.swf


so when you are looking @ the folder for temp.swf...itz your old one but in fact the changes are made to your 1.swf?

No, I don't change the names when I export the .fla . When I look at the folder where all the .swf and the .fla files are stored and click each .swf file, I get the old stuff. And that's after I make the changes and save my work. The files in the folder look like they've never been changed!!! Why!?
