That is great!!

How did you study for it? Did you get a study guide or just took it cold turkey?

Well... I can't say much about the exam because of that NDA stuff... But I can tell you this...

If I can do this, senocular can do this in a breeze... ;)

The exam was fairly easy for the part that I know, but there were some parts that I don't know much about such as XML or Objects and stuff that I had some problem with...

But, honestly... This forum has been a real good learning field... I am sure that most of the stuff that I have gone through has been mentioned multiple times in the forum... Cold turkey??? Yeah... That's what I am... :D

Actually I took F5 exam a couple of years ago... I haven't done much of Flash at the time, but I was so confident that I should get one... It was whole lot harder at the time... I got 78/80 last time though... I should have guessed one more question right and I should have gotten certified, but I didn't...

It took about 50 minutes to finish all the 65 questions, and I took extra 10 minutes to go over what I have checked for review and after that, I still had about 10 questions checked... and I guess I was about right cuz I got 78 again this time, but it is 70% this time... ;)

I thought that I'd get a book or something if I fail this time, but I guess I can spend that much of money for some other book... (I have ASDG1 and that's all I have...)

Thank you all... :)

so where can I find some basic info on this?
I mean, there must be some overview for people to see what they need to be able to do?

in your current job? doubtful. Help you get a job? likely. being certified says something about your skills. Given the option to hire someone whos officially certified as a Flash MX developer and someone whos not... who would you choose? If you've already been hired though, then doing so would probably only enforce what your employer already knows. My employer would probably rather me NOT be certified in fear of someone offering me something better and me taking it heh... though I wouldnt do that. Good ppl here ;) [not until they complain about me surfing the boards, then its ASTALAVISTABABY!]

Isn't it too harsh quesiton to ask to the jobless person???

:p

I think it depends on your company... If the company recognize the certificate, and see the bigger value in you, the company will increse your salary, of course... At least, you can have some more room to negotiate when they review... ;)

thats really cool! I looked into it, and theres a place right down the road from me where you can take the test I guess, or at least thats what it said! :D I doubt I'd even think of taking it for another 3-5 years, but its good to have something to look forward to at the end of the tunnel :p

Congrats man...

Yeah... I'm lazy today so perhaps there is answer somewhere but don't wanna seek for... lol

If i want to have this certificate, must I go somewhere (a particular place) or could i pass it from anywhere I am?

????

Am I jobless??? Yes, unfortunately... :(

Check this place...
http://www.vue.com/macromedia/

Select Test Center Locator, and select IT Certification and select Macromedia Testing... Continue, and select country to see the listing of the testing facilities... ;)

Nice one CyanBlue ... congratulations.

Who runs the exam? Is it Macromedia or one of the other Certifying bodies like CIW?
