Fed up with it?
Increasing as you surf?
What can we do about it?
I'm totally fed up with it, I haven't a clue how to eradicate it and as I surf, say I search for a Camera...next morning, I have emails about cameras and special offers. It's a nightmare!
ps - CyanBlue, Check your email mate ;)

the little ********** had an arguement with me, I won, he subscribed me in like 6 of them things... :(
luckily I've got other emailadresses that are spamfree :D

usually its you who give your email address away.
my solution is to have an email address for spaming.
whenever i have to give out my email, i give that address.
that way i keep my email spamfree.

Spam these days has almost nothing to do with giving your email address away.
I have recently switched to an app called Spam Inspector and it is excellent.
Take a look at http://www.giantcompany.com/ and download the 15 day demo.
NEVER use the 'unsubscribe' function in spam email. It tells them you are there.

Preciesly Sauldamn,
you don't need to actually give your email address away personally. There are plenty of bugs around now days.
One of the biggest yet I think was on a major website, with thousands of addreses, got the email addys from db, mailed them, then that virus actually emailed all your contacts and inbox mail, so you can imagine how big that is, and it's probably even working this second.
Unsubscribing from mail usually works like- You unsubscribe from them, BUT your email goes to another few spam busineses. So you cannot win. Vicious cricle!
