After getting som feedback a month back I have made some changes to single click timing (after people got stuck), hiding backgrounds (for less confusion). Also added content so that it may not seem so bare.

yes, it's experimental and weird -- since it breaks so many rules it will always be slightly difficult, but do you think it's beyond usable?

Try changing window sizes in different views to see how the layout adapts. Also try dragging and pulling on things for kicks.

 There is a Mac issue with loadswf() in the photo albums and that loses the images when they load. Still trying to find a fix for that one. Works on Linux and PC though.

itz way too laggy.... first was on a 550 mhz computer...then thought it was only on that computer
but now on a 2 mhz P4.... it still lags

motion is jerky, some of the fonts are blurred..(mostly the headings)

itz a good idea but mayb not have alot of coding running @ the same time

I really like this, innoative concept.

If the site is for personal purposes, IE - Nothing important then fab but if its for portfolio or work wise then, it's not effecient enough, just as Tim was saying.

Love the work, done well

Thanks for the feedback. I wouldn't consider anything other than html and css (with small bits of flash) for something that needed to be understood. This is merely a toy. Glad you liked it GRaPHiX.

One little neato thing. The outside linking (http://polarfront.org/archives/000046.html) gets rewritten to a call to the flash film if you are a user, but shows .html if you are a search engine. Google hasn't come visiting yet, but when it does it should crawl the .html. This is a 'good thing' for a content driven site.
