I've recently changed my motherboard, cpu and RAM to a Gigabyte dual-caching motherboard with P4 2.66 GhZ+ mounting 1 Gb RAM... i went from win 98 SE to win XP (on a new HD)...now here comes my problem:
-when i get into any program (including all office applications) my mouse starts getting glitchy and lags... this means at random times it just gets stuck for half a sec and then starts moving again (very annoying), this happens in Flash too (causing me a lot of trouble wehn drawing...)...

before you ask i'm using a logitech USB wheel mouse, with the latest drivers for win XP...believe me this is incredibly annoying...and i don't know how to get rid of it...

If someone knows of any similar problem let me know! :p

I think i'll soon go mad and start using my mouse as a whip to hit my pc...

hope someone can help me out here! :)

try reinstalling OS.
many times that is the best solution.
although it will take whole day...
good luck

had the same problem with windows ME!
it occured since I installed a drawing pad!

how i solved it? I changed to win XP :D

when did the effect first appear? look if there is probably any applikation causing this lack! I do not think it's a mouse-problem
(The whole screen freezes for about half a second, doesn't it)

hmm, maybe we go mad together tomorrow! but not now.
It's about something about 1 O'clock, and I'm tired!

try removing unnecessary applications from autostart/msconfig
this may help

good night to all :)
