i LIKE THE FIRST ONE BEST, THE COLOUR ON THE OTHERS TAKES AWAY FROM THE RUNE.

here is my take on runes www.bostonpagancenter.org, I made them out of clay and them shot them and photoshoped them a bit

nice clean site, the stones look good to. Not sprirtual myself just find picture writing and symbols interesting and beautifull. Thanks for the feedback. Still working need some colour to seperate the two symbols and evoke the tree look. So reluctant to go for the original design. But I am cleaning up the shapes so appreciate if you let me know if it is getting better...will post later.
