Anyone Win XP experiences? Jes? ok here is my problem!
as long as windung XP is not connected to the Internet, it is trying to connect to the internet every 10 seconds.
(Seems my pc is addicted to actionscript.org too :D )

i tried everything i would have tried with win me too, but it's still trying to connect!

anybody an Idea how to change that?

I'd try to do the virus check first with the newest data...

And use Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/) and Spybot (http://security.kolla.de/) to check if there are any malicious things in the computer...

And then, check out the Microsoft's support area to see if there is any similar thing happening...

but it sounds like he needs to turn off the Windows Messenger Service

settings - control panel - admin tools - services - messenger, and set to "disabled"

Yeah... That could be as well... ;)

Me??? I AM the Matrix... :D Speaking of the Matrix, I gotta go watch the movie...

I am having some virus problem on my other machine that I have a modem on... (Speaking of that, I have my old computer with the modem, and connected this computer to that to share the 56k connection... Weird, eh??? :D)
I can just wipe off the computer and reinstall everything to get rid of it, but I am too lazy... and so far, NAV is doing the fine job to catch them... Would you like me to send you some??? :D

I already scanned my pc with adaware and norton antivirus. I've got xp-AntiSpy installed, and Sygate personal firewall pro (best firewall availible) running.
No, it must be something with the win xp settings.
I already tried to shut everything unnecessary down, but it was still trying to connect.
I know really much about spyware, virus and so on, but i only have win ME skills.
The problem is, i changed my os 4 days ago (formatted the disk, made new partitions,...) everything ran perfect.
But now (I do not know since when exactly) i've got this problem :(
