Looping an Animation

Hi,
I've inserted an animated gif into my movie but it wont animate when I publish it, Ive tryed to put a play action into the first frame but that doesnt start it anamating, on the last frame Ive got a goto and play frame 1 which sends it back to the start when I play it but then it stops on the first frame, I need it to loop .

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, I've fixed it instead of putting the play action on the animation layer I put it on the main background layer and it starts up and plays and loops now :). whoohoo.
