My current website:

I came up with the whole interface and planned it out in photoshop, and I thought it could make a great website for myself in flash. However, I'm wondering if it's worth the effort.

My current website:
http://www.doverinteractive.com

The new design I came up with:
http://www.doverinteractive.com/websiteplan1small.jpg (with image)
http://www.doverinteractive.com/websiteplan2small.jpg (without image)
http://www.doverinteractive.com/websiteplan3small.jpg (different color)

I thought that the overall color gradient would change at each page (vision, services, portfolio, contact). In fact, I was really inspired to create this from http://www.crashmedia.com

So what should I do? Create it in Flash to replace my previous site? Create it and then make a splash page that allows the user to choose which they'd like to go to? Or forget this design and stay with the old one?

Thanks for your help.

and, oh yeah, by the way, don't steal my design or ideas. Thank you.

I like the clean look of the first one, the excessive gradients of the second designs are overwhelming. The first design is clean and easy to understand.

I would definitely create a companion html site, unless you want to exclude a number of visitors. I know that our corporate people are very computer iliterate yet they decide what gets done. So if they can't figure out your companies website they will move to one that they can understand.

I say the first one would be great with some upgrades... but you could continue with the others and make them just as good.

When I was talking upgrades, try new buttons... new graphics, but keep the main principle... give the site a face lift is basically what I'm getting at...
