I am, once again, not receiving any notification from any of my threads. This time, however, I will refrain from changing my address...

It was a transient problem but it last 24 hors. Our mailq is still full of delayed mail to be sent to admin@k.

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on host.server-24.net.
The message identifier is: 19bBOY-0006v8-4c
The subject of the message is: test from the Penguin
The date of the message is: Fri, 11 Jul 2003 23:45:03 -0400
The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:
jesse@a....
Delay reason: host lookup did not complete
No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for
some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message
remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up,
and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.
This happened the last time as well. I will get this message every 24 hours up to 72 and then after another 24, it'll stop sending. I sent it from my 'other' address. I do not know what else to do here Jesse and I feel bad for this problem. What else can I do?

I dunno Red. I tried to manual email red@k yesterday and got the same problem. And we're still getting heaps of errors in our mailq from your admin@k addy. Are you getting the rest of your emails like you'd expect to? Can someone possibly email Red and post here letting him know they've done so, so that he can check if they come through.
In the interrim Red, it might be a good idea if you could grab yourself another email account and use that temporarily, because being such a strong contributor to the boards, you get a LOT of notifications via email each day :)
I'd suggest it was a problem at our end but yours is literraly the only address (on the forums) it's hapenning with and I get the error not only on our mail server but on my ISP's mail server too. We sent out the newsletter yesterday (18,000 emails) and we got a hell of a lot of delayed errors... could be a problem with us. I'm still looking into it

:)
btw; time is off a bit too:
here && now = 01:36 (GMT +1, ntp server: 194.109.6.65)
the forum reads 09:46

I've sent red another email after sneeuwitje... ;)
Yeah... Time has been adjusted again... It was working fine as it should be, GMT-5, after the server clock has been changed a while ago, but somehow it is acting weird again... I had to set it to GMT+1 to get the right clock... I am not sure if this happened today or sometime ago... I just noticed it today... Back to AMT, arg... :(

it's one of my bad habits not to keep track of time at all ... :D
so i couldn't say when this happened. I think the time has never -- in my short as.org life -- been correct for me, so i stopped worrying about that from day 2.

Thanks for the support people....
:]
I received CyanBlue's email. He sent that from his own addy. I haven't gotten anything from as.org (yet!). I shall do as Jesse suggested and use my "BS" mail addy until this gets resolved.
I will direct my provider to this thread to see if this can be resolved from my end.
Bizarre, non?
Once again, it's great to be a part of such a strong community and thanks for the support!

I've tried again to send you some mail just manually, via my ISP's mail server. I sent it to admin@ and red@ ... Let's see.

Not received anything from Jesse at either addies. I have changed the notification address to a yahoo account and am currently just using that and I have also notified my provider but still haven't heard word.

Well it's official. Got my emails back saying your account is stuffed today. Sorry mate, no dice.

I haven't a clue as to the problem. I ain;t to sendmail specialist! As stated, my accounts are working fine from everywhere else...
So I guess the temporary fix would be to get in touch with me, if you should need to, via the boards! My yahoo account works fine for the notification...
Still waiting to hear from my provider. SHeesh. Usually I hear within 24 hrs. Damn.
