i have a form in web page and need some function which could send an email if the form is submitted, any help, suggestion plz ?

you need a serverside script, be it php, asp, coldfusion, perl.....which you use depends on what your host supports and what you know, or you can send the form to an established one - lots of hosts have their own sendmail script and will tell you how to send the form to it - most just for the people they host, but google will find you some that will let anyone use it
